Achilles tendinopathy is a challenging condition to treat that can result in significant pain and functional impairment. These impairments often present during activity or in weightbearing functional positions often with minimal pain otherwise. However, most evaluation protocols only obtain 2D or non-weightbearing diagnostic information. Therefore, we are studying the utility of weightbearing CT and ultrasound in assessing Achilles tendon pathologies during functional positions.
